Reach for the HeART Programs - 11 Years Charity Luncheon

Event Date: 10 December 2019
Venue: China Club

This is the 11th year to celebrate the sponsoring of Reach for the HeART art project , collaborated by Sin Sin Fine Art and Art in Hospital since 2009. By conducting creative workshops in geriatric wards of public hospitals in Hong Kong, our program continues to touch any elderly’s hearts in our community. Our participants are geriatric patients who are not prone to anxiety due to the deteriorating health and lonesome feelings in the foreign and cold hospital environment. With art making and sharing, we hope to support them go through this stage of life with joy and dignity.

We are truly grateful that the Charity Luncheon was a huge success with over 150 of attendance. As always, your contribution is going towards providing free workshops and other art activities exclusively for elderly patients in public hospitals.

The Original Story
Yunizar

Venue: Sin Sin Fine Art, Unit A, 4/f, Kin Teck Industrial Building, 26 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Hong Kong

We were proud to present The Original Story, an exhibition that revisited the first encounter of artist Yunizar and Ms. Sin Sin Man. Yunizar’s paintings carry his signature abstract style with a focus on texture that invites the viewer to reach out for a feel. His deep understanding on materials helps him to manipulate them to serve his narratives. Working primarily in acrylic and pencil, he artfully builds volume and anti-rhythm with his brushwork and setting forth impressions through contrast and lines, forms and colors.
